About

Baikun Leng is a Ph.D. student in the ISOM Department, Foster School of Business, the University of Washington, Seattle. He completed undergraduate studies at the School of Data Science (Outstanding Contribution & Honorable Mention), Muse College (Distinguished Graduate & Highest Honor In Master List) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. During his junior year, he was a visiting student at UC Berkeley EECS & IEOR.

He is passionate about exploring topics in AI, Blockchain, Data Science and Supply Chains. Formerly, he interned as a research assistant at Berkeley Haas, SMU Cox, and CUHKSZ SDS, focusing on the Finance-Operations Interface, Data Driven Optimization and Frontier Tech adoption OM, aiming to address operational challenges that arise in business and society.

He also created the database for CBER and held the CUHK-SZ School of Data Science Undergraduate Seminar. Besides academia, he was an anaylst at Nothing Research Venture Capital and US Arctic Research Commission.
